With significant funding
from the Fairfax County
Consolidated Community Funding Pool (CCFP), in
conjunction with other funders, this program provides
rental assistance that allows the very poorest elderly
in our community to continue to live independently.
In addition
to the funding
from the Fairfax County
CCFP, this program receives funds from the
Warman-Naselli Trust, the Max & Victoria Dreyfus
Foundation, St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church, St.
Mark Catholic Church, the Gannett Foundation as well as
individual donors.
The participating seniors
benefit from the program by having sufficient funds to
not only pay their rent, but also, pay for more
nutritious meals, medical needs, vision checkups, dental
checkups as well as to be more interactive with their
families.
