Catholics for Housing proudly sponsored a group of committed faith-based in their effort to create BRAVO (Buyers and Renters Arlington Voice).  For several years, CFH provided support, fiduciary assistance and guidance to this organization whose mission is to advance and defend the rights and interests of Arlington’s tenants by empowering them and working together to preserve affordable housing and the economic and cultural diversity of the community.

BRAVO is now an independent 501(c)(3) organization and continues to organize at the grassroots level, focusing on tenants living in affordable housing units with housing code violations and other poor quality of life conditions.  BRAVO empowers tenants to participate in the decision-making process.

            Intervention and Mediation

            Relocation Program Oversight

            Leadership and Personal and Economic Development workshops

            Safe, decent and affordable housing and tenants advocacy efforts
