Population: Women, including those who are elderly and mentally ill.
Services:

Shelter, meals, showers, psychiatrist, social services job assistance, counseling, life skills program, lockers, and support groups.

Restrictions: Referrals not required. Wait list begins at 7pm.

Restrictions: Families must be from DC and must be referred by the Virginia Williams Family Resource Center.

Restrictions: Referrals for legal and medical services preferred but not required.

Restrictions: Referrals welcomed by not required.

New Expectations (NEXT)

Population: Pregnant women and their newborns.
Services:

Prenatal referrals and counseling, drug treatment program, case management, recovery, education and support, job training and employment referrals, budgeting and savings requirement housing assistance.

Restrictions: No passes for 30 days. 9pm curfew.

Population: Homeless, runaway at risk youth.

Emergency Runaway & Homeless Youth Shelter, Teen Mothers Residential Home, Transitional and Independent Living Program (apartment living), Literacy Training Center, GED course, AIDS prevention services, Consortium for Youth Alternatives, substance abuse treatment and prevention.

Specialized Services: Interpreters for hearing impaired.
